I did not feel I was given a choice in where the drip was placed. I was also not offered like the other patients any water or tea. I was in my own and felt very isolated and lonely and scared.

Everything about the care received was usually excellent but when you were transferred to another hospital the 'nightmare' begins, the marsden doctor says 'if you have not heard within a fortnight phones up. This in my experience does not happen. Many phone calls taken by the patient might eventually lead to appointment being given this system needs changing.

Friendly staff in all departments. Everything explained clearly. Plenty of time to ask questions.
